Is it just me, or does it completely freak anyone else out when people your age and younger begin to get engaged? I'm only 21 - this shouldn't be an issue yet!

Also...my mom doesn't seem to understand the fact that I don't want children. No matter how many times I tell my mother that I don't want to be a mom, she just laughs and says she can't wait to see how crazy I go with my first child. Now I'm not saying it's never going to happen, but...the chances are not exactly in her favor.

New Year, New You

 I recently read the book "Skinny Bitch", which has really turned me off of meat. Therefore, I'm going vegetarian for the next month, and seeing how that works. I'm currently on day 2 and it's not too bad.

Also - my friend told me of a project 365 where you take pictures every day for a year so that you can look back and see what you've done throughout the year. I may participate.

My apologies to the two people who read this for not updating in quite a bit. Unfortunately, nothing of real interest has been happening as of late. Here is what has been going on in my life, however...

(1) Academics
18 credits, thanks to my idiocy and forgetting to take an ensemble for credit. Goodbye, free A  Oh well, my grades should be pretty decent this semester. Intro to World Music is a ball of hell, but my other courses that I actually enjoy are evening it out.

(2) Marching Band
As expected, it ate the souls of each of its 193 members this semester, and will continue doing so until after Toronto. I fear some of the drama that goes on there is turning me into more of a crazier bitch than the usual, but so it goes. I know what I don't want to become and will do everything in my power to avoid it.

(3) The Other Sex
Found a guy I really like.  Well, I shouldn't say found...more like, continued with. It kind of freaks me out that there aren't many bumps in the road - always spooks a girl out when things are going too well. But hey, no complaints on my front.

(4) The Same Sex
Girls are bitches a lot; myself included. That pretty much sums it up. I must say, though, a good girl friend can always be your greatest reassurance and resource. As much as we suck, we can also be pretty damned awesome too.

That about sums up everything that's on my mind at this moment. Random and fairly vague as per usual, but hey...that's me! Happy Turkey Day!
